These eligibility requirements are designed to ensure that the digital skills training fellowship selects candidates who are well-suited to benefit from the program, apply their skills effectively, and contribute positively to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Sierra Leone.

Applicants must be individuals aged 18 to 35 years old as of the fellowship commencement date - March 1st, 2024.

- Eligible candidates may represent startups, non-profit organizations, or social enterprises from any industry or business category.

The program is not open to the following entities:
- Research institutions, faith-based organizations, value-adding trading companies.
- Businesses that primarily serve as government contractors.
- Businesses located outside the geographical boundaries of Sierra Leone.

- All businesses or business ideas must be in their early stage, ranging from inception to a maximum of five years since establishment.

- Applicants should possess a personal device (e.g., laptop, computer, smartphone, or tablet) and have reliable access to the internet to fully participate in the digital skills training.

- Proficiency in the English language is mandatory. Applicants should be able to speak and write in English to effectively engage in the training program and communicate with instructors and fellow participants.

- Applicants should be committed to participating fully in the fellowship program, including attending training sessions, engaging in practical exercises, and actively contributing to the community of learners.

- Applicants must be residents of Sierra Leone and should be able to provide proof of residence if requested.

- Candidates should demonstrate a strong passion for entrepreneurship and a clear commitment to leveraging digital skills to enhance their businesses.

- The program welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds, irrespective of gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status, and aims to create an inclusive and equitable learning environment.

- Applicants should be willing to collaborate, share knowledge, and engage in peer-to-peer learning, fostering a supportive and cooperative learning community.

- Successful applicants are expected to commit to applying the digital skills acquired during the fellowship to enhance their businesses or business ideas, with the intention of contributing to the economic development of Sierra Leone.

- All applicants must comply with legal and ethical standards and should not engage in any activities that violate local, national, or international laws or ethical norms.
