About The Founder
Meet Kharifa Abdulai Kumara, the visionary behind DreamDay Technology Limited, a social enterprise at the forefront of technological innovation. Graduating with a BSc in Computer Science in 2019, Kharifa’s passion for leveraging technology for social good has earned him numerous accolades, including receiving a $2,500 grant for placing second in the best ICT Business Plan competition organized by Fuer Sierra Leone in 2021. Selected as the sole participant from Sierra Leone in a Business Readiness training by WACOMP in 2021, Kharifa is actively engaged in various youth networks, such as YALI West Africa. He has trained hundreds of youth in Sierra Leone and other places, in areas such as financial management, social media marketing, communication, research, presentation tools, data management tools, project management tools, and more. His entrepreneurial journey began as a response to the overwhelming demand from students across Sierra Leone for his groundbreaking Learning Management System, initiated even before the onset of COVID-19.
